Itinerary: Hotel - "Gala" State Historical Ethnographic Reserve - Master Classes - Tea ceremony - Hotel
Just in 40 km from Baku there is an interesting open-air reserve - "Gala", where you can have information about the everyday life of Azerbaijanis since the 16th to the 19th centuries. The reserve was opened in 2008, with the area at least 1.2 hectares, and contains an exposition of ancient settlements (most of them are over 5000 years). In addition to the museum complex, "Gala" also has workshops for pottery, carpet weaving and making lavash, where you can try and enjoy yourself. Anyway, the "Gala" museum complex is a wonderful place for exploring the lifestyle of ancient Azerbaijani settlers, familiarizing with all kinds of master classes and tasting local cuisine, and having an excellent family holiday for the whole day as well.
